The EG Market Café is now open and serving delicious food, baked goods and snacks at Everything Goes at the Original Shops on Cave Creek Road in North Phoenix. The new Café provides the mall with fresh “Grab ‘n Go” breakfast and lunch items. Just need a snack while you are shopping or maybe a few grocery items? You will find several fabulous products you might recognize from local farmers markets.
The urban farm style Market Café gives off a fresh vibe offset with corrugated metal and barn wood walls in a 1,000 square foot space. Stained concrete floors and bright green walls make it a great place to grab a drink and a bite to eat after a long day of shopping. Recent yummy-looking morning baked goods included Peanut Butter Protein Bars, Raspberry and Peach Shortbread Bars, Date Banana Bread and Fudgy Brownies! Hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., seven days a week.
Everything Goes owners Lenny and Nanci Cowles are excited to bring something new to the Shops on Cave Creek Road’s area, just south of where Thunderbird and Cactus Roads meet. They said, “Shopping at six great shops and now a place to relax and eat is very exciting for all of us! Now others can enjoy hot or iced coffee, tea, or fresh farmers’ market items to eat in a great atmosphere at the Market Café or take them home.”
They explained, “We were inspired to open the Café because our family enjoys taking regular trips to farmers markets and supporting other small business. We wanted to combine these aspects in order to complete the overall experience for all of our customers.”
The Café’s manager Mary was a long time vendor at Everything Goes, has knowledge about all types of foods and is great with people. The Cowles daughter, Hailee, is helping until school starts again and a family friends daughter, Allison, is helping out while on break from U of A. Another friend, Allie, is an outgoing helper recruited for the summer.
With over 4,000 square feet of shopping space, Everything Goes offers home furnishings, antiques, collectibles, garden furniture/décor, jewelry, one-of-a-kinds and hard-to-find items. The store has over 40 vendors with their own styles making it very unique. Offerings include: rustic, repurposed, western, shabby, antiques, industrial or just unpainted furniture. With its continually changing inventory, Everything Goes is like a new store every day!

The Cowles also own AZ Man Cave located in the same center. Lenny says, “This shop is like no other store you’ve been to. We have antiques, beer signs, albums, outdoor gear, cast iron, vintage electronics, military and hunting items. The store is constantly evolving, which is why we tell our customers to always come back. We take on vendors and also buy and consign.”
