Midtown Mercantile Merchants Antique & Vintage Mall in Tucson is a hub of activity featuring an eclectic and diverse mix of inventory in nearly 30,000 square feet waiting to be explored with fun surprises at every turn—especially during monthly Mash-Ups!
Each month the Mall’s antique and vintage shoppers are treated to Mash-Up, a 4-day special event with a unique theme each time. Offering exclusive merchandise, Mash-Up shows how even two totally different styles can reside together beautifully in your home.
Mash Up began in February 2017 with ‘Victorian Valentine meets The Wild West’ showing how opposites can “mash” together. Mash Ups are held on the first four days of the month except for the upcoming Labor Day holiday weekend. This year, Halloween will take center stage on Thursday, September 6, with ‘The Fall Ball at The Old Curiosity Shop’ when a wide variety of fall home and garden décor will be displayed in all its vintage elegance. Come see the mannequins dance at the ball through Sunday, September 9.
Then, on Thursday, October 4, Christmas comes to town early when ‘Christmas Present Shines a Light on Christmas Past’ bringing treasured holiday cheer that will last long into Christmas Future! November’s Mash-Up will be ‘Playing the Cocktail Culture Game’ on November 1 to 4, and 2018 Mash-Ups will end on December 6 to 9 with a ‘Resolve to Transform’—how New to You can make your house a home.
Additional events at the mall will include:
‘Meet the Merchants’ evening held on Friday, September 14, from 4 to 7 p.m. with wine, appetizers and, if you dare, a trip through the haunted corner of the Mash Up.
The annual University of Arizona ‘Pop-Up’ on Saturday, September 15, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., hosted throughout the store. U of A students, faculty and support staff will receive 15% off this day with I.D. and, until December 31, they will get 10%off. There will be door prizes and surprises with ideas on how to decorate dorm rooms plus cupcakes and popcorn for hungry shoppers.
A costume event held all day on October 27 for shoppers and children in costume. There will be a costume contest, scavenger hunt for prizes and gift certificates to the mall plus treats and punch galore. All children will receive a Halloween goody bag.
Visitors who walk through the door at Midtown Mercantile Merchants are warmly greeted by staff members who are also available throughout the mall to answer questions and offer assistance.
