If you are looking for some warm and friendly Western-style hospitality and fun shopping, head to Wickenburg and enjoy exploring the Antiques & Artisans Emporium. Located in a restored historic hotel that dates back to 1888, the Emporium is home to more than sixty dealers. Their wonderfully eclectic mix of offerings includes antiques, collectibles, vintage, crafts, jewelry, western boots and art, Native American jewelry and crafts, home décor, furniture, clothing, gifts, art and more. Plus you can enjoy delicious homemade cookies, candy and jelly!

The former Texas Hotel, later known as Del Rio Court, was a popular stop in Wickenburg for travelers on their way to Las Vegas and California before Interstate 10 came along in the 1970s. There have been other businesses in the building, which was renovated several years ago. It’s been said that some of the former employees and guests have never left the hotel and Emporium owner Beth Gallant has stories she can tell about these experiences.

Beth opened Wickenburg Antiques & Artisans Emporium in September 2010 and the business has been growing ever since, filling two stories that provide over 3500 feet of space. We are featuring two of the dealers—Nancy Burkett and Debbie Rinker—here.

Nancy Burkett has been a dealer at Antiques & Artisans Emporium for nine years. She has been collecting and dealing in antiques for many years and owned an antique shop in Wickenburg from 1994 to 2001. She and her husband own Head West Barber Shop on the west end of town on Wickenburg Way and that shop is full of antiques and collectibles, too.

Nancy has a wide variety of antiques and collectibles. If you are looking for gently used cowboy boots, this dealer has them. She also carries vintage Pyrex, kitchen utensils from the 1920s to the 1940s, linens, teapots and crockery. She has a large selection of milk bottles and racks, trunks, furniture and more. She says, “If anything’s old—we probably have it!” She also sells custom wooden magnets. She likes to offer a fair price on her merchandise but occasionally will offer discounts. Stop by Booth NCB to check out all of Nancy’s merchandise.

Debbie Rinker is a charter member of Wickenburg Antiques & Artisans’s dealers. She was one of the first people whom Beth called when opening the mall and Debbie has been there for the entire 11 years. With thirty plus years of experience in the antiques and collectibles world, Debbie has showcased her merchandise in many of the antique malls around Arizona over the years. Beth told us that Debbie offers quality vintage items that appeal to women but she also carries western merchandise that men like as well.

Located in space #110, Debbie’s merchandise includes collector buttons, vintage jewelry and clothing, crystals and prisms, glassware, Young Living Essential Oils, decorative items and western. Debbie loves to shop with her clients in mind and stays up to date with current trends. Her collections continually change and she likes to offer a good variety of quality vintage and decorative home décor. Debbie says you will “find some of everything and something for everyone” among her offerings.
