Clock and watch collectors and repair experts will display, sell and trade modern and antique watches and clocks, as well as tools, parts and literature at the annual Arizona Sunshine Regional Watch and Clock Show on March 13 and 14.
The event will be held at the Fountain Hills Community Center, 13001 N La Montana Dr., Fountain Hills, and is hosted by the National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors (NAWCC) Arizona Sunshine Chapter 112, assisted by Keywinders of Arizona Chapter 46 and Southern Arizona Chapter 113.
On Friday, the show is open to NAWCC members only and is closed to the public. There will be the opportunity to sign up for membership on Friday for as little as $30. On Saturday, the show is open to the public from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is $5.00 and free to children under 18 years of age. Parking is free.
Saturday’s events feature a “Clock and Watch Roadshow” where the public is invited to bring their watch and clock treasures for examination and appraisal. Verbal appraisals of timepieces will be available at no cost. In 2019 this proved to be a very popular event and there were lines of people waiting to have their treasures assessed
A large horological exhibit will be set up in the main entrance hall with the theme, “The History of Time from Sundials to Atomic Clocks.” Free coffee and refreshments are available on both days. Educational classes and seminars will be held and educational videos will play in the break room.
